As founder and master colorist at Bassia Bassia, Sara employs her visual-arts education and experience at renowned downtown salons to create new realities with her clients and imagine the colors and stories that will elevate them.
Originally from Texas, Sara attended Art School in Chicago, where she studied Design Management with a focus on Small Business and a minor in Painting.
Known for her care and patience for details, she enjoys exercising that in everything she creates, attracting loyal clients from the art world and beyond who depend on her to execute the perfect shade.
Her strength lies in her ability to see someone for who they really are, and she visualizes how to play off of their unique beauty. By knowing her clients, Sara is able to source the trends that have traction with them—channeling hazy nostalgia from decades past, revisiting childhood hair colors, or dreaming up a new otherworldly story.
With Bassia Bassia, Sara has created a flexible, collaborative space where stylists can finally feel empowered as artists with agency—which means more inspired looks for you.
